In 2023 I was asked to make a quilt for The Festival of Trees,

a charity event where the proceeds are donated to our

local children's hospital, Primary Childrens. My mom offered to help

me and we spent the entire year working on a

Harry Potter paper pieces pattern. We put sweat blood and tears

(maybe not literally) into the making of that quilt. but it was such a

fun opportunity to be a part of something so important to our community.

My favorite part of my work is getting to see the incredible things that you create.  I know that my customers put copious amounts of time and effort into creating something they will treasure for many, many years and I am beyond grateful for your trust in my work. I promise to treat your quilt with the same respect and love that I would my own because I understand the labor your put into it.

Sew, let's getting quilting!!! I can't wait to see what you have made!

Family Ties Quilting began in 2010.  My grandmother purchased a longarm quilting machine and wanted me, my mom and my sister to learn how to use it.  However, I had never made a quilt.  My loving grandmother patiently taught me the skills I needed to create a beautiful baby blanket, helped me load it onto the frames, and taught me how to add the quilting designs of my choice.  I was hooked!  I began quilting for anyone that would let me. Since that time I have quilted over 500 beautiful quilts for my customers,

not to mention a few of my own.
